Hi everyone,

I am new user of Telemac,
I ran a simulation in 2d with 2 liquid boundary in which one is discharge and other is water level.
Although water level of the boundary fluctuates in range of -1 m to 1.8 m, the water level in the result is very large of over 10 m.
I really do not know why.
Could anybody help me?

Thank you very much,
Thanh

Hi Thanh

It's hard to try to help you with so few information.
You should join the file of your simulation in a zip to let us see what is wrong in your parametrization

I attached my simulation files.
Please help me check them.

Thank you,
Thanh.

Hi
is the computation running well?
There is no initial condition in you steering file and the instantaneous discharge at the upstream boundary is huge.

Add the initial condition with the value of the water level imposed at time 0, this will avoid problem on these boundary and modify the impose discharge to start from 0 and increase progressively to the right value.

Hope this helps

Hello,

The computation ran well.
I used the actual data of my field site to simulate.
Maybe I misunderstood when using Bluekenue.
In Bluekenue, the water level I saw is water depth but water level.
So the simulated result maybe correct.
I will check again.
Thank you for your suggestions.

Thanh.
