open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am simulating an estuary in Telemac2D. The case file I am referencing to is one I ever used in V6P3, and It works well in V6P3.

However, When I copied it into V7P1, some errors occurred.

I searched the forum, and know that since V7P1, we have to set OPTION FOR TIDAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS for each boundary. After I modified that, the model ran successfully, but the result showed that the h and UV of TPXO was still not imposed in the tidal boundary.

Could anyone give me a help?

The keyword OPTION FOR TIDAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS was changed since release V7P1 and accepts nomore a unique value for all liquid boundary but as much values as the number of liquid boundaries.
In your case, I see that you have at least 3 liquid boundaries, then, you have to write
OPTION FOR TIDAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS =0;1;0 (in case of boundary 2 is concerned with tpxo).
The value 0 means no tidal boundary condition is applied, the value 1 activated the tidal forcing.

Note that for release v7p2, we added a warning error, if number of liquid boundaries is not equal to the number of options introduced with this keyword.

Like I said I have already set that for each boundary in the cas file. But it still not works.

I installed the V6P3, and It works anyway. I am not sure where is the problem.

in the case file you have attached, there is only one value. Is this the case file you are using with V7p1?

Anyway, if you can send us the whole model, we will try to check it up.
