Hi everyone

I've had some problems with finite element, I'm testing with finite volumen.

I made a run, with the key words given in the tutorial.

And the result I got was weird. It looks like the liquid does not flow.

Attached output files.

Dear Joaquin

Your run is going very well. You have just to modify :
- friction law to 3 (strickler) which is the only law taken into account with finite volumes so far (strickler coefficient = 1/manning )
- you have to introduce a time step with keyword (TIME STEP ) which will not be used for time loop (since it is variable) but for graphical outputs. with your options, time step is equal to 1s (default value) that's why you have only 3 outputs in your result file (graphic output period=100, time step=1. and duration=200 )

I hope that this helps.

with my best regards

Riadh
