Im trying to run a simulation with the Type of advection non conservative psi scheme on velocities : 6;5 using the FV method with a HLLC scheme. Unfortunately i get this kind of error:

No specific treatment of dry zones in finite volumes
type of advection : 6
unknown or not implemented....

What could be the problem?

First, scheme 6 is obsolete and is not recommended to use anymore.
Secondly, you can not mix finite elements and finite volumes in the same run. The code is implemented in a way that separates both approaches.

Thanks for your answer. But, in which way am I mixing FE and FV? Is scheme 6 only for the FE method?

When you write EQUATIONS=SAINT VENANT VF, the choice TYPE OF ADVECTION =6;5 is useless.
the only keyword taken into account is FINITE VOLUME SCHEME =5 which means the HLLC scheme.
