Hello,

I have an open-ended question.

I'm running an analysis of a fjard with TPXO data.
I am just running some test analyses (seeing if the mesh and the boundary conditions "work" and give some sort of reasonable results).
Right now, I'm interested in modeling a 12-hour time period (rise and fall of the tide), and have 12 time steps, i.e. one step each hour.
What is the effect/risks of this?

I'm adding a clipping of the analysis as it is running.

In order to understand properly the effect of time step on the results you get I advise you to take a look at this topic.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
