open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am a new user of Telemac and have difficulty in completing my first project. The project looks at creating a canal with the dimensions of 100 X 10 metres.


A liquid with a prescribed flowrate is applied on one side and a liquid boundary at the other side both with a flowrate of 3 m/s. The depth of the canal is 5m and at the boundary’s, the elevation is 5m.

I run the simulation and am unable to get any velocity output at any point along the canal. I have attached the relevant files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the simulation running or not?
According to your steering file you should have only the first and last time step in your result file.
If you look at your result with BK, did you select the last time step?

The simulation does run. When clicking properties on the velocity mesh when the results file is viewed in blue kenue, the min is 0 and the maximum is 0.0239518.

How do I select the last Time step when using Blue kenue?

You should select animate
There is a User Manual available in the help part
