In subroutine prosou.f I am declaring the name of the files (*.r2d from versio 6.3) and at when to be read . At the very beginning of the run I got this message: GET_MESH_NPOIN: BAD FILE FORMAT: BIN I used the same mesh, adn the r2d file has FX and FY any help more than welcome Many thanks & regards

riadh	Dear Nikos what does it mean "I am declaring the name of the files (*.r2d from versio 6.3)". Do you mean that you are using result files from version 6.3 ? This should work fine since the serafin format has not been changed since that time. try to open the file with Blue kenue to see if it has any problem. with my kind regards Riadh

Hello everyone!

Was this issue ever resolved? I have the same problem. Below is what I have so far:

1. Ran TELEMAC-2D independently with success;
2. Ran TOMAWAC independently with success (FX and FY were added to output variables);
3. Added the following to the TELAMAC-2D .cas file:

    WAVE DRIVEN CURRENTS = YES
    BINARY DATA FILE 1 = 'WAC001-Results.r2d'
    RECORD NUMBER IN WAVE FILE = 49

4. Got the following error:

    GET_MESH_NPOIN: BAD FILE FORMAT: BIN

5. Mesh and CLI files are exactly the same.
6. Simulations were done in parallel so I tried running in single-core but without success (same error).
