Hello Mahdi,

It looks like one of your files does not have the right format. I think that chanel 4 corresponds to the boundary conditions file (T2DCLI). Try to check its format.

Laurent

Hi Laurent

Thanks for your response. Can you please explain me more what do you mean by the formate of boundary condition. I am using Bluekenue to apply the boundary conditions and the boundary condition is based on Q (inlet) and Free Surface (Outlet) in different time steps. I applied it on a simple boundary T3 mesh which was generated by Bluekenue, but when I created a new mesh by changing the length of elements, it doesn’t work any more.

Hi Mahdi,

The boundary conditions file is the file where you define what kind of conditions you want to prescribe (see section 3.2.3 of the user manual), not the prescribed conditions themselves.

If you have changed your mesh, you have to rebuild your boundary conditions file according to this new mesh.

So maybe it's not the format of the file that is wrong but the file itself that does not correspond to your mesh.

Laurent

Dear Laurent

As an example if I defined my boundary condition for Q like (0.0; 10), is it possible that I need to modify this condition like (10; 0.0) if the mesh changed?

Thanks,
Mahdi

It depends how you change your mesh, but I think this is not the problem here.

If I look at your first post, the channel 4 is the boundary conditions file *.conlim or *.cli, editable and containing as many lines as the number of boundary points. Each line has the following format:
2 2 2 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 2 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 77 1

If you modify your mesh, you must rebuild this file.

Laurent
