Hi,
I want to make a simulation with the presence of tide. I read the file "Méthodologie pour la simulation de la marée avec la version 6.2 de TELEMAC-
2D et TELEMAC-3D" but the example of files in the end are different than the one in estu_gir (maree.cli) I don't know if it's because the version 7 is different than the 6th one.
What does the numbers in the file maree.cli refer to ?

Hello

the example to use for tide is not estu_gir, this is an example for oil spill.
The example to see is called tide.
you need also to read the user manual correspondant to the Telemac version in order to use updated options.

with my best regards

Riadh ATA

What do you suggest me to do ? I thought it would be better to change parameters in the estu_gir example. But qi can't understand what do numbers in maree.cli refer to

Hello,

The tidal forcing applied for the "estu_gir" test case is really specific for this case and can't be easily transposed for another location.

So as Riadh suggests, it should be better than you start from the test case "tide" where all the tidal options are illustrated, as described in the documents "Méthodologie pour la simulation de la marée avec la version 6.2 de TELEMAC-2D et TELEMAC-3D" and Telemac2D user manual. Then you can adapt it for your own configuration.

Once your tidal forcing will be set up, then you'll be able to introduce oil spill modelling features.

Regards,
Laurent
