open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello,

I am trying to model a extreme wind condition with velocity of 20.8m/s.
According the telemac manual the COEFFICIENT OF WIND INFLUENCE should be 2.51E-3.
But telemac gives me this error :

Hi,

First, the telemac user manual clearly states that the COEFFICIENT OF WIND INFLUENCE asked by telemac2d is not a_wind but a_wind*rho_air/rho. So you might change its value to 3.0157e-6. This parametric value should be adjusted by comparison with measurements (if available).

Second, your time step is really too high, you must reduce it to about 5s to ensure a convergence of the solver and a Courant number lower than 1.
