Dear all,
I was wondering if I set up a simulation coupling the Telemac-2D and Tomawac codes, if interaction effects like the ones modeled in the Tomawac test case "opposing currents" are modelled.
I mean, will Tomawac "realise" that there is a high opposing current speed at the current time step and stop the wave propagation, or is that effect only possible if you set the Current file as input in the Tomawac model?

Kind regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Yes, refraction and Doppler effects induced by the currents on the wave propagation can be modelled both for in-line and off-line coupling modes.

Laurent
