open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi iam new to telemac world i started using it this week.
i have 2 questions
1) How to simulate salinity and other concentrations in the simulations ? Is iy by using tracers ?
2) If i want to use parallel computation should I have the v7p2 parallel shortcut ? or it can be done just by adding the keyword. In fact I added only the telemac v7p2 shortcut while manually installing

Yes you should use tracers. In 2D, it's averaged on the vertical.
If buoyancy terms are dominant you should use the 3D version.
For parallel, yes it's recommended as you should use a separate configuration. It's also possible to have only one shortcuts, but this means you should specify in the launching script the configuration you will use...

Thanks mr. I looked for examples where there are tracers.to understand more. I found the exmple estu gir where the tracers started with a value of 0 and ended with a positive value. How is that possible ?
