TELEMAC helps me a lot!
Now I want to simulate levee break flood by using coupled 1-2D hydrodynamic model.
Would you please tell how to couple a 1D hydrodynamic model with TELEMAC 2D by using a lateral link or lateral structure?

The 1D-2D coupling is not straithforward. We generated several application couple years ago in the framework of a post-doc project.
The use of fully 2D models is much more easy and accurate. So why you do not want to use full 2D model which includes automatic breaching processes

Your advice is very wise,full 2D model is much more easy and accurate.But unfortunately，the DEM of riverway I have is not accurate enough,so I think maybe I have to use 1D model to simulate river.
Could you please provide applications or information about coupling 1D model with TELEMAC 2D?I will try to do it and tell you what I get.
