Hi All,

I just wonder how could Telemac2D adjust the momentum correction factor for the non-uniform vertical velocity profile?

Best Regards,
Bin

Hello

There is no need for momentum correction for 2D shallow water equations. This correction, is needed only for 1D models.

kind regards

Hi Riadh,

Yet I read some papers which has momentum correction before advection term in 2D.
And since there are jet flow in my model, So I want to consider the effect of non-uniform vertical velocity. Not sure about the influence, but I would like to have a try. So, Is there any method to do it in telemac2D?

Best Regards,
Bin

Hello Bin

You can look at subroutine Propag.f for finite element part and volfin.f for finite volume part.
if you want to play with source terms you can have a look on subroutine prosou.f and prosou_fv.f

kind regards
