Dear all,

I have a question about liquid boundaries file and I wonder if you help me.
As you know liquid boundaries file consists of time, discharge and water level. My question is whether water level corresponds to discharge or time???

Because if it corresponds discharge, some problems would happen.
Imagine that the maximum inflow discharge in this file is 300, so the rating curve only covers this range (0,300). In case we have some lateral inflows, the discharge goes up to 300 (for example 400) but the rating curve cannot capture it. What should we do in this case???? How to solve this problem?

I hope I could explain the problem well.

Hi
As always, I would say you should read the documentation first.
Your mixing two different things about the liquid boundaries:

The liquid boundary file which is only a time varying condition. Then all values are time dependent, but water level is not linked to water discharge.

AND

The stage-discharge curve file which is dedicated to rating curve but without any time information...

Kind regards
Christophe
