Hello to all
What time step is determined? For example, for a tidal case, and for mesh sizes of 15 meters, is a time step appropriate?
Best Regards.

Hello

If you choose constant time step, you have to try with a given value (1s by default) and see if it should be decreased of increased. The solver performance (number of iterations to converge) which can be read in the listing will give you such precious information.
The other solution you have, is the use of variable time step but with a given CFL value.

I hope this helps

with my best regards
