I am applying some sources located exactly on the river bank in my model but I want source flows to enter the river with a specified angle.
Would you have any recommendation or advice?

I found the key words to specify velocity for each source point in a steering file (VELOCITIES OF THE SOURCES ALONG X, VELOCITIES OF THE SOURCES ALONG Y), however, it cannot apply in our case as we want to give a list of source points from an external file. Imagine that the number of source point is many and discharges of source points are time-dependent.

The manual shows a possibility to program source points by defining functions VUSCE and VVSCE. We try with this approach and update later.

You could describe those components in your external file and manage the association directly in the fortran.
For the time-dependent discharge, there is a dedicated file for that.
