I use the tpxo database for my tide data model
tpxo7.2 for 2003 to 2010 but I need older data ,what should I do???

did you tried to simulate older period?
As far as I know, the database was build using these period for the analysis of the main components of tide but it will work if you want to simulate year 2000 for example

Yes it's OK
In fact, TPXO give some harmonic constituents of tide so whatever the date is, telemac could recompose the tide
