Dear all,

I would like to inplement a weir of type 2 (TYPSEUIL =2) in one of my model but I have not found any example with that option.
I've tried to create the data file regarding the subroutine lecsng2.f but I don't understand everything.
Is there an example of data file for weirs of that type?
Thanks in advance

Best regards

Olivier

Hi,

I'm also interested in an example of managing weirs for the general formulation ("TYPE OF WEIRS = 2"). It seems that weirs points have to be defined as source points and associated with a weirs data file that differs from the file for "type of weirs = 1" and containing specific details for parallel computing.

If somebody can provide an short example or a brief description, it would be nice!

Thanks,
Laurent

Hi
In fact this kind of weir is not fully validated in Telemac as it doesn't work well for tracers.
There is also a problem with velocities as we deal with sources point on a boundary...
It's an ongoing development but time is missing to finalize.

I join a small example of the test case built for verification
It lloks like this
