open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am new to telemac software. I installed telemac2d V6P2 from automatic installer windows version. Installation is completed successfully but not getting icon on desktop. From where i can open telemac2d or from where i can get shortcut?
please give me answer.

Do you need to use v6p2? I think you should use the last version (v8p0r0).
I do not get what you are trying to say with 'Open Telemac2d', you run it from the command prompt. Maybe you are referring to BlueKenue which is the pre and post processing software. You also have Fudaa, which helps you to create you parameters file (steering file).

I think you should download the Baxter Tutorial, considering you are a beginner, that would be a great way to begin.

Sorry for this late reply.

As EnGlobe said, you have to do the installation manually.
Please find in this link an installation guide that will help you out with the manual procedure.

There is also an explanation of how to run a simulation (files required, paths, etc.).

Take into account that it was done for a previous version different than v8p0r0, nevertheless, you just have to make some changes throughout the process (this is also explained on the document).
