Hello,

I am new in Telemac and I have a problem with my simulation. The idea is to generate an incident wave in a simple channel. To make it I use the t2d_wave.cas file with the dos user_fortran, which I have modify to read an geometry channel file and boundary condition file, the idea is the same as in the wave file.
The problem is when I run it, everything works but there is 0 iteration at each step, and the result is no wave propagation or anything in the channel, if someone can help me please...
I have try to change the amplitude of the incident wave but same response...
Also I wonder why when I run the t2d_wave.cas with the initial geometry and boundary files but adding the linearized propagation for avoid the loss of amplitude, there is also no evolution of the free surface in the result file.
Please find attached the file I compute.

Hi Alain,

I think it's because you removed the "PRESCRIBED ELEVATIONS" keyword from your steering file. You should put it back because the model needs it to prescribed the conditions on the boundaries.

You also modified the amplitude of the wave to 20m (for 0.5s period and 10m depth) which is very huge and not really realistic.

Laurent
