Hello,

I have made a 2d simulation and obtained the result file (file_A.slf).This result file contains 10days data.

Then i have made another simulation for the next 5 days using HOT START option. The result file obtained is file_B.slf.

Now i want to merge file_A.slf and file_B.slf.

Is there any tool available for merging?

Thanks vks

This should be done with python scripts.
Look at merge.py

merge.py --help will probably help you to know how to execute the script...
Nevertheless, i'm not fully sure this is the script you need as in telemac the word "merge" is also used to combine the sub domain results at the end of a parallel computation...

Hello,

There is a script in PPUTILS that does exactly what you are looking for. Have a look at the "script merge_sel.py". You run it as follows:

merge_sel.py -a a.slf -b b.slf -o merged.slf

I haven't tested it for 3D cases, but as long as the variables are in the same order on both files, it should work.

Let me know how it goes
