I can't start my calculation on telemac2d from the beginning I get the message "fail to run" which appears without more information.

Are you able to run one of the examples?

Are you sure you have the right path, it seems to make reference to your python path:
c:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p0r2\scripts\python27\canal_cas0_2019-07-23-16h28min56s\out_telemac2d.exe

If that doesn't help what command are you running?

yes I don't know why but I can only launch telemac by being in the python folder. In any case, I tried an example provided with the installation and it works well.
I want to model the flow in a channel. I attach my case file, my geo file and the boundary conditions.

If you're only able to run python from the scripts directory you might have missed step 6 in this tutorial, to load the path to python scripts.


I tried to run your files and I get a segmentation fault, not sure what to do with that…
(maybe it's a problem with your mesh, it seems like there is a hole in the middle section when I open it with BlueKenue)
