Since in my case, I don't have a measured water-level at the downstream boundary,

I was also wondering whether is it possible to impose a free boundary condition for downstream water-level of a river?

I posted a question on the same issue

Hi,

You can set a free boundary condition using bluekenue when setting your BC/CLI file by defining the BC as custom with the value: 4 4 4.
