I'm simulating a reach of the Low Paraná River with Telemac-2D between the cities of Puerto San Martin and Rosario (km 405-452). Steady flow simulations were performed for a time-steps equal to 1 second, simulation results fit well against measured data.
When I want to analyze the influence of the secondary currents I make the following change in the steering file: SECONDARY CURRENTS = YES. I use the default values for the coefficients: PRODUCTION COEFFICIENT FOR SECONDARY CURRENTS (7.071) and DISSIPATION COEFFICIENT FOR SECONDARY CURRENTS (0.50). When I run the program this says: EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS. I tried with a smaller time step and starting the simulation with previous computation file, nothing worked.
