Hi everyone, I have to make a mesh with the sub-mesh channel and the domain.
I have two problem:
When I run the process for create the mesh there is a large number of nodes (fig 1)
When the process ended the rusults are wrong clerarly (fig 2)
This are the parametres used in the simulation:
-The area of domain is about 380 Kmq
-The length of the river is about 50 Km
-The resolution of the mesh is 5 m
-The domani is resempled with method of equal distance (delta = 5)

Just have a look at the BlueKenue tutorial, you can find a link to it in the BK section of the forum.
If you have a 50km long river with a 5m mesh size you'll get a lot of nodes! You can reduce by allowing for larger distance in the mesh or make channel mesh for your river with shorter distances over the river width and larger distances along the river channel. This is also shown in the tutorial.

Roccoma91	The default Edge Lenth is egual to 5. I checked "Resemple Outline", "Auto Smooth Mesh" and "Edge Growth Ratio". The Edge Growth Ratio is egual to 1.2. Thanks for the support
