Baxter tutorial error - floating-point exception at boundary 4 years 10 months ago #35170

Hello everyone,

the baxter tutorial always shows me the error message "Program received signal SIGFPE: Floating-point exception - erroneous arithmetic operation." between the facts of boundary 1 (baxter inflow) and boundary 2 (tule inflow).

I could not find any helpful threads in the forum yet. Can someone tell me, what I´m doing wrong please or what this exactly means?

Attached you find the steering file (which is the original one), my geometry, the BC and the .cmd info.

note: The steady state crashed in the beginning aswell. According to the error message I then changed the velocity profiles from 5;5;1 to 2;2;1 and adjusted the velocities in the BC file, with the same resulting error as for the unsteady computation.

Any advises?

Regards,

Chris
