Why flow stops at the outlet boundary ?! 4 years 10 months ago #35211

Hi, all. I am confuse that the result of the flow looks like stopped at the outlet boundary. Although the outlet boundary condition was defined as the open boundary with prescribed H, some of the meshes at the open boundary gave reasonable results but others failed as shown in figure.

This is problably related to the bottom elevation and the water level you impose as boundary condition...

Thanks for the reply from Coulet. Yes, you are right. The elevation of some mesh is slightly higher than the imposed water level.
