HELLO.
I want to use telemac-2D to run a simulation of urban flood. There is a hyetograph.txt in the pluie example. However, I don't know how to set the spatial distribution of rainfall.
What should I do?

You could have a look in the wind_txy example and adapt the fortran file for rain in a similar way it's done for wind..

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately the paper doesn't show how to implement spatial varied rainfall.

I add point sources to to represent the flood.So actually i don't add any rainfall in telemac.

Rainfall using sources point is not an efficient solution as the rainfall should be given at each point of the mesh so this means you will have a huge number of sources...
The best solution should be to generate a selafin file with the rainfall intensity spatially varying like you do for other parameter like topographie or friction coefficient.

Thanks to your suggestion, I would create a selafin file contains the rainfall intensity vayring in space but also in time (different time steps). Then I modify the prosou_fv.f to read rainfall from that file.
