Hi everyone,
I would like to perform a 2D simulation to represent both river flood and runoff flood on a complicated area which envolves many rivers, canals and culverts.

To simulate runoff floods I’m goind to use the rainfall-runoff model showed in the pluie test case in V8p1. As i didn’t saw many posts about this topic I would like to know your feedback, and experiences that you had with this function.

Thank you very much in advance

Hello Audrey,

A section of the upcoming user manual for v8p2 is dedicated to this module.
Please find attached a screenshot of this part

. The associated references, where you can find more information about the model are:

Otherwise, this model is widely used in the literature, especially in the American community, to represent the part of the rain infiltrated with heterogeneous land cover.

I also have in mind one application of this model presented at the TELEMAC-MASCARET user club in 2019 (see attached

Hope this helps.
