Dear telemac Forum,
I have a problem on setting the boundary condtion. My simulation domain is dry initially, and the flood discharge enter the domain in the entrance. Both depth and discharge
are imposed to simulation supercritical flow.
I choose the prescribed water surface and discharge ,both time series, at the entrance boundary condtition, but the calculation result seems wrong. The bounadry entrance flux is NOT EQUAL to the discharge time series, as shown in attatchment picture. I tried several times but failed. Could you help me to test check the case or tell me where the problem ?

The case files are shown in attachment: syg.cas, syg_geo3.slf, syg_liq.liq and syg_bc3-bi.cli

Hi
I had a quick look on your model.
I'm not sure to well understand what you want to represent. Is it a spillway of a dam?
The BC had only 3 nodes which is probably not enough and the mesh is not really accurate at this location...
Maybe you could add a small flat channel just to facilitate the imposition of discharge.
Even it's a dry simulation, you could also start with the FE equations and move to FV later
Hope this helps
Regards
Christophe
