Hi all,

my model domain has a lot of nodes that sit below the reference level (e.g. 0 meter) but they are dry in reality. Once the model is initialized they get water since they are below zero. Is there anyway to assign each node their initial depths?
For instance, can I add the variable 'WATER DEPTH' to my geo slf file and set the below reference nodes to have zero depth?

I'd appreciate if you could let me know what the best practice is.
Cheers

Hello Kurum,

If you do not want to use a standard initial condition for water depth available by keywords, use the option INITIAL CONDITIONS = SPECIAL or PARTICULAR and write what you want in the USER_CONDIN_H subroutine. You can read the TELEMAC-2D user manual or have a look at TELEMAC-2D examples using this subroutine.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
