I am trying to run this simulation for rainfall-runoff modelling. But I am getting the error shown in the attached image. I have also attached the used files.
Can anyone please help me to find the solution?

This is a problem for parallel computation as the partitioning doesn't work.
Are you sure partel is well compiled?
If yes, you could try to run only the splitting step and check the error message in the result to see where the problem is.
With your files, we're not able to reproduce your problem...

The simulations are running smoothly with all the other geometry, and boundary condition files, so there should be no problem with the compilation.
This error occurs only with these .slf and .cli files. Can you please tell me the command or the process to run only the splitting step?
I read about partel in the user manual but it doesn't tell how to run only this step.

To have an online help about the command, you could add --help at the end...
To only split your model, you should run telemac2d.py --split --ncsize XXX -w <DIRECTORY> <name_of_steering_file>
of your you should specify the number of processors XXX, the name of the working directory and the name of the steering file

I am still getting the same error for the splitting step too.
How do I compile the partel? Is it possible that the simulations using other files are running but not using these files because of the partel not being compiled properly?

Partel is compiled when you compile the parallel version of Telemac.
If the splitting step failed, have you a partel.log file in the directory?
This could helps you to understand if the problem comes from partel itself or from the model

yes I have this partel_T2DGEO.log file and it has a line saying "THE MESH PARTITIONING STEP HAS FINISHED" but it doesn't show the successful termination of partel. I don't understand why it stops before completion of the process.

We can't open a .log file... Please change the extension to .txt before upload
To go further, if the partel step finished, you could verify you have the right number of partitioned geo files.

Yeah, it says the partitioning is completed but the partitioned files are not generated as it stops before that as you can see the in the attached log file.
I have changed the extension of the file.

So this means the geometry file is well partitioned and you should find the 8 subdomains in the temporary file but the problem is located in the T2DSEC file...
This should be investigated...
