open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

As told in the telemac2d mannual,"A control section offers the possibility of obtaining the instantaneous and cumulated flow rates through a specific segment of the domain", what should I do if I want to printout the water level and tracer concentraion of some control section?

You can have a look at the FLUXPR_TELEMAC2D subroutine and implement what you want as written in the TELEMAC-2D user manual.

I have another question to consult.

During the running process with tracer,the hint"EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: "appeared.


I know the default value is 100,so what's maximum value for this?

How to avoid the problem by the way?

Hello Hong,

This is a message to warn you that the solving of a linear system process has not reached convergence, so you have to understand why. You can read the dedicated section 7.3 of the TELEMAC-2D user manual and increase the maximum number of iterations or relax the accuracy if you are not too far from the solution. Otherwise, apply other advice: decrease the time step or change your mesh.
But you need to check what occurs in your case.
