Hello,

I have built a large submersion model with T2D (and TOM) v7p3 involving about a certain number of breaches.

At the beginning of the computation, an error occurs (scalar mode) saying:
LECTURE DONNEES BRECHE = OK
BRECHE: BRECHE LARGEUR NE PEUT ETRE SUPERIEURE A LARGEUR FINALE BRECHE:
and the run stops, producing corrupted Selafin result files.

When I ask BREACH.f to write out the index of the breach involved (in the FIRSTEND loop):
IF(LNG.EQ.1) WRITE(LU,300) I

it is printing out a different index at each run, or even runs fine sometimes!

This has no sense. No random information is created at each run in the calculation so that the error should be perfectly reproducible.

Do you know why this problem occurs ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi
Did you tried with latest version?

As indicate in the rules, we don't debug old version

Christophe

No we didn't. However, breach.f does not look very different in v8(p1) as compared with v7(p3) (french was abolished and P_IMAX and P_IMIN are declared but not used).

The problem occurs when option for erosion type (OPTERO) is 2 (widening).
We have just fixed the problem by setting OPTERO = 1 (lowering). It doesn't change anything because the breach duration is 0.

Well...
To be followed.
