Hello everyone !

I was wondering how to impose time varying velocity at the entrance of my telemac2d model.

I would like to specify a constant discharge at the upstream boudary, but change the discharge distribution along the boundary during the simulation.

In fact i would like to add an option so that the velocity profil can be set a function of time and not computed with the standard "velocity profile" option.

I would like to study how liquid discharge conditions have an impact on the river bed evolutions (sisyphe).
It would be nice to have some advices.

Thanks in advance,

Thibault

Hi
This is not tricky I think !
As you could describe the velocity profile in the cli file, I think you could start with this and add a small fortran part in user_bord.f to change those values along time...

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for you answer, I will look at this, I try to update the fortran routine.
Just one question, when you speak of "user_bord.f", you mean the "bord.f" fortran file which is in the "source" folder right?

I did not find any "user_bord.f" file.

Cheers !

You're not using the latest version otherwise you will find user_bord...
