Hello,

I am new to Telemac and I am trying to run a steady Telemac2d simulation with very simple geometry. I use version v8p0r0 and already ran some example simulations which worked fine.

I have a very basic river reach with a length of ca. 200 m and would like to run a steady simulation.

So as soon as Telemac2d wants to start to simulate, the "runCode: Fail to run" error appears and says sth like "error 2 - the system could not find the specified file".
However, all the files I specified in the .cas file are in the specified folders.
If anyone has an idea what the mistake might be, I'd appreciate the help.

I suspect a problem with a space in the directory...
The list of file copied and renamed in the temporary directory are not in accordance to the one described in your steering file...

In the listing you have:

Hello,

sorry my bad, I confused two simulations I tried to run, but always got the same error:

"runcode::main:
:
|runCode: Fail to run"

in addition with:
"error 2 - the system could not find the specified file" (in the .cmd prompt this is written in German if you try to find it.)

Before Telemac crashes it always creates a folder and writes the .cas; .cli etc. files in it, in addition with an out_telemac2d.exe file.

Any ideas what my mistake might be? As I already said, the example files work just fine.

Here is the complete message I get from the .cmd prompt of the simulation which match to the files I uploaded.
