I'm experiencing this error when run a simulation forced by wind from binary atmospheric data file using telemac2d v8p2

PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR
RETURNING EXIT CODE: 2

This error does not occour at previous version telemac2d v8p1

Hello,

Which release are you using? v8p2r0 or the latest tag v8p2r1?

In release v8p2r0, there were 2 bugs in meteo_telemac module which is used for BINARY ATMOSPHERIC DATA FILE and they were solved in tag v8p2r1.
If not yet done, you should upgrade the release to the latest one (v8p2r1).

Yes, I was using v8p2r0. After upgrading to v8p2r1 it is working!

I allowed myself to continue this post since I got the same error with v8p2r1 using the binary atmospheric data file:
In my case Secchi Depth data was written into the binary file attached below, the variable ZSD was added accordingly in user_fortran METEO_TELEMAC.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Can you send your modified meteo_telemac module please?
From which one have you started your modifications? The one from sources folder in v8p2r1, the one from examples/telemac2d/wind_txy ?
The bug of this topic has only been fixed in the sources folder.

Sorry for the late reply, after going through the forum I succeeded in integrating the time and space-varying parameter ZSD into the model with the following steps:

1. Create the ZSD binary file using python code mentioned in this post.
2. Set the ZSD binary file as 'BINARY DATA FILE 1' and read the parameter by adding 'CALL READ_BIN_2D (...)' in subroutine METEO, other minor modifications of the source codes are needed as well.
