Charitha_SU	I am a phd student doing experiments in flume related to embankment breaching due to overtopping and its influence by the vegetation grown on the crest of the embankment. I need to validate my experiments by doing modelling. I hope to use telemac for that. If anyone else know it is possible or not please let me know.

Hello,

There are some features available in TELEMAC-2D that may help you:
- breach. 8 new formulae to model breach with TELEMAC-2D coming from Lydia Kheloui's PhD will be available in next release 8.3 which should be released in around 1 month, but already available with the trunk/main release,
- vegetation. You can read the TELEMAC-2D user manual v8p2 for more information, in particular the 6.1.1 subsection Vegetation friction and appendix E. + paper cerfacs.fr/tuc2019-repo/TUC2019_FullPape..._Kopmann_tuc2019.pdf
