open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everyone,

I have a problem and I hope you guys can help me.
I ran my telemac2D simulations in 2 differents PC and I got two different results ( very different) for the same simulation but it is noted that up to a certain timestep the results are consistent with the simulation of the other computer. After some timestep the results start to diverge extremely to the expected results. The simulations are ran in steady conditions. Do you have any idea what can be the reason?

The telemac version Pc 1 is the 6.3 and in Pc 2 is the 8.1 in and i'm tryng to simulate the sediment transport in a river with telemac 2d and sisyphe. The problem is in the hydrodynamic simulations in telemac because I had extract a control section that prinnt time and discharge in m3/s. In the Pc 1 the simulation seems be fine but in Pc 2 it's clearly wrong up to the time 3740 seconds, even if the inputs of the simations are the same. You can fine in attachemnt the control section for both simulations with Pc 1 and Pc 2

What about the comparison of the results files, not only the sections output files? Can you see significant differences for water depths and/or velocity components? Can you show some figures?

Between releases 6.3 and 8.1, there were 5 other releases and some changes may have occurred for the options you chose.
