When telemac is run with these files (created in BK), the following errors are reported:

ERROR AT POINT: 4
THE BOUNDARY POINT: 135
DOES NOT BELONG TO ELEMENT : 0
POSSIBLE REASONS:
THE BOUNDARY CONDITION FILE IS NOT
RELEVANT TO THE GEOMETRY FILE
OR THE MESH HAS A WRONG TOPOLOGY

PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR
RETURNING EXIT CODE: 2

How do I fix it?
How can I check if the mesh makes sense?

Thank you very much!

All the best
Fade

Your boundary point 135 corresponds with node 1205 of your mesh.

If you look at this area you'll see your mesh needs some attention as node 1203 is ousite the boundary.

correct your mesh and recreate cli file.

Hope that helps,

Patrick

Thank you very much! How do I show the serial numbers of these points in BK?

Right click your mesh and click properties, then select show node labels and apply.

As for your other question, I'm not aware of an easy way to check. Other then running a simulation and see if it goes.

Another question: How can I know these "accidental" nodes at once? Is there a way to find out? This might be useful for the creation of a mesh.

Thank you very much!
