Hello:
In telemac2d simulation,the rainfall vary in time is needed. I knew that it can be done in hyetigraph(examples\telemac2d\pluie). But I just want to input rainfall vary in time.
In user manual, it said "Rain and evaporation can also vary in time and space. They can be introduced through the ASCII ATMOSPHERIC DATA FILE". How can I realize it?

Hi,

I don't think this is possible without some fortran programming if you don't wish to use rainfall-runoff models.

If you don't want to code in fortran, just use the SCS CN runoff model (RAINFALL-RUNOFF MODEL = 1) and set CN to 100 everywhere (eg rainfall = runoff) and use the RAINDEF = 3, as in the pluie example, with your own hyetograph.

If you want to introduce rainfall vary in time (and not in space), I suggest you to read the WAQTEL user manual, in particular chapter 3 + have a look at 2 WAQTEL examples: heat_exchange and waq2d_thermic.
