How to visualize a satellite background on a simulation 1 year 9 months ago #41988

Hi!

I would like to visualize a flood simulation on Fudaa (Telemac 2d) by adding a satellite background. I tried to add it directly into the mesh file on BlueKenue but I failed.

Does anyone have any clues please? Thanks in advance!

Charlie

Hi
You talk about Fudaa in the telemac2d topic
You mix with mention to BK...
You would like to add a satellite background on a mesh

Read the Forum rules and avoid twice posting

Probably better to use QGIS for such needs

Hi Charlie,

If you have one or more georeferenced satelite images (GeoTIFF format) you can load them directly into BlueKenue and visualize them just as any other object along with your simulation results.

I'm not sure what you mean by "add it directly into the mesh file on BlueKenue"

Hope this helps... Martin
