TOPIC: High velocity in boundaries-(ill-posed problem)

High velocity in boundaries-(ill-posed problem) 1 year 9 months ago #41994

Hello,
I have a high velocity problem at my boundaries.
Of course, I get the same error (ill-posed) every time.
I tried the suggested methods, but I had problems.
How do I solve this problem?
Thanks
Sina

The problem is with your boundary, sometimes you need to extent or shorten the mesh to avoid eddies/circulation at the boundary. Or adjusting the depths to make inflow/outflow more uniform.

More info would be handy, what time of boundary are you using, what is upstream and downstream, what have you tried and what helped and what not.

Hope that helps,

Patrick
