Hi,

when I run my Telemac model with Wind, unfortunally nothing is happening to the output. I tried it with Speed and direction of wind and also Wind velocity in my cas file, but with both runs, nothing changed.
My first question is: Is it the right way to do it?
and because nothing change my second question is:
Is there another way to include wind and is it running better with option 2?

Thank you for your help in advance and I hope I will be able to add the wind in my coastal model!

Best,

Hard to say without more configuration, but could it be that your model is shallow water (less than 1 m) and that the wind is ignored due to the default parameter THRESHOLD DEPTH FOR WIND at 1 m?

Thank you, but yes its a very shallow area. Some parts are below 1m, but also some are up to 3 m deep. Is there a way to deactivate this parameter, so work around it that I can include wind?

You can reduce the value of the parameter in your .cas file. See the reference manual for more information.
