I'm having an issue with my simulation and I'm hoping someone can help me.In telemac2d(v8p4) simulation,the rainfall vary in time is needed. I followed the instructions in the runoff-horton.f file to generate my rainfall file and added "FORMATTED DATA FILE 1 = 'rain.txt'" to my cas file(attached). The simulation runs without error, but the water volume in the results is always zero, which means that the rainfall is not being considered in the calculation. Additionally, I modified the RAINDEF parameter in the source code to 3. Can someone please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

I cannot see any modification of runoff_horton subroutine as you do not specify anything for keyword FORTRAN FILE. In that case, RAINDEF=1 and the FORMATTED DATA FILE 1 is not read.

Thanks for your reply. In fact, I had already changed the RAINDEF parameter to 3 in my unattached user fortran file. I finally found out that the problem was in my cas file, which required the setting of RAIN OR EVAPORATION IN MM PER DAY and DURATION OF RAIN OR EVAPORATION IN HOURS, despite not using constant rainfall. Thank you again.
