hello,

The harmonic constants (M2, S2) of the simulated results are inconsistent with those of the measured results. However, the harmonic constants of K1 and O1 are within the allowable error range. The following table shows the harmonic constants of the measured values on the left and those of the simulated values on the right.

What is the reason for this and how should it be changed?

Hello,

Which release of TELEMAC-2D do you use?

It would be interesting:
- to see the extent of the domain + coordinates you use as input of the GEOMETRY FILE, which location you give the comparison,
- to know how you have proceeded to determine amplitudes, frequencies you show,
- to know from which bottom elevation data you have built the TELEMAC-2D model with which accuracy (z) and resolution (x/y),
- how fine is your mesh (boundary conditions, close to the coast, where you try to compare your result).

We need many more information to discuss.

Anyway, looking quickly at your steering file, you should use recommended options for TELEMAC-2D (please read the TELEMAC-2D user manual and in particular chapter 16). E.g, please use TREATMENT OF NEGATIVE DEPTHS = 2
