Hello telemac community,

I am wondering if anyone can point me towards an example of a working user_bord subroutine? I don't think there is one in the telemac examples, as ctrl_f found no instances of "user_bord" in the telemac validation guide.

Just FYI, I am attempting to code up some custom periodic boundary conditions for both the flow and tracers. I want to essentially copy and paste the flow and tracer values at the downstream open liquid boundary to the upstream liquid boundary. Any advice on how best to accomplish this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Martin

Hello Martin,

There are a few examples of user_bord subroutine modified in Fortran file in the $HOMETEL/examples folder:
- telemac2d/mersey/user_fortran/user_bord.f
- telemac2d/m2wave/user_fortran/user_bord.f
- waqtel/tracer_decay/user_fortran/user_bord.f
- tomawac/Coupling_Wind/T2D_user_fortran/user_bord.f
- gaia/littoral-t2d-tom/T2D_user_fortran/user_bord.f
- sisyphe/littoral/T2D_user_fortran/user_bord.f

The last 3 ones are the same.

Anyway, you can also directly modify bord subroutine in Fortran file.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
