Good morning,

I call PROXIM in USER_UTIMP_TELEMAC2D to write time series.
Can you please help me to ensure the good values for INUM at the exit of PROXIM ?
Because I tried to use P_MAX, but output of INUM are different between computations with ncsize=1 and ncsize=2.
I used the utimp subroutine of Malpassset example.

Please find attached the case.

Kind regards,
Audrey

Hello Audrey,

It is normal that the node number is different from the sequential run, when you run a parallel computation. What is then used for each subdomain is a local renumbering (for the local subdomain).

If the specific number of measurement point is not present in the local domain (usually only present in 1 single domain except if belonging to an interface dividing 2 subdomains or more), PROXIM will return 0 in parallel. If it is present, the number returned is a local number in the subdomain.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
