open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello Telemac community,
I am using Telemac2d version V8p4. I want to use a combination of Telemac2D and a different mesh Tomawac wave model. Can you please provide me with documentation to guide me on setting up the hydrodynamic meshes and boundary condition meshes of Telemac2D and Tomawac with the items needed while building the mesh (files xxx.slf and yyy.cli) for reference. Can I use BlueKenue software to build mesh? Thank you very much for your help.

I'd strongly suggest the following hints for you since your questions are quite general in nature:

• Read the available Telemac2D and Tomawac wave model documentation
• Search the Open Telemac forum for posts related to what you are trying to do
• Read the Blue Kenue Reference Manual (yes it can create meshes)
• Post forum messages (in the appropriate places) with specific questions for the community to help you with. The more specific the question, the easier it is for people to help you I suppose... and likewise, the more general the question, the harder it may be and the less likely people may respond?

To complete Alan's answer, please find topics or items in the manuals with "tel2tom".
In the TELEMAC-2D and TOMAWAC user manuals, you will be able to read that there are an example, a notebook and other information.

Thank you very much for your very useful and effective instructions. Before sending the first question, I also read the Coupling_Wind example in the Tomawac examples section. The problem I do not understand is the meaning of the contents of the files: geo_t2d_different-tom2tel.slf and geo_tom_different-tel2tom.slf. I want to understand these contents clearly so that I can apply them to set up our own problem. Those files are automatically built by the python script run_telfile.py (option tel2tom) from the 2 different geofile.
The script add to each file some complementary information which describes the mapping relation to achieve interpolation step between the two mesh.
During the coupling, the value at each node of mesh 1 is computed from the 3 surrounding nodes of mesh 2 with a dedicated weighting...
